Default Front Rotors 2001 XC70

The front rotors on my 2001 XC70 are at a point where the brake shop says they are too thin to machine.
Today, I scored a pair from a wreck of a 2006 XC70.

I'd like to think that I could easily replace the old rotors with these used ones (keeping the not-very-old brake pads)
Are they the same size?

Thanks
Al Craig

The only way to be sure, is to measure the diameter. There are at least 4 different sizes used.

Cars delivered on 16" rims most likely had 285 mm rotors. Larger wheels may have 305 mm. Pads are the same but caliper carriers are different.
There are even larger rotors............
