Default battery removal 1993 850 saloon

I'm sure I'm missing something here but I am trying remove my cars battery so I can replace the RPM sensor, to hopefully sort the trip computer out. The haynes says it is held in by a clamp !!! It is ? Where theres no clamp that I can find cant find any bolt like a normal clamp

Can someone give me guidance on this btw the its a 1993

I know how to take the battery out just cannot find the clamp that the manual refers too. to clarify

There is no bolt - the clamp snaps into place at the end of the battery, leaving a 'finger' to wrap around the corner - its item 5 in the pic below
