Good luck with the project, 300bhp was around what I expected from the configuration too. I'd love to see some pics when its done!

Suddenly my new 960 seems rather dull. Will have to sort that

getting rid of the turbo, they are too hot and tempremental for my liking, ok so I was wrong about the merc model, oops. there was a new m90 on ebay a week or two back for 250 quid that would suit me well, just need to save my pennies.

Turbo is SO much easier...but SC is pretty much unique

The car with the roots-style blower sticking out of the bonnet was almost certainly V8 swapped. The area below the inlet manifold (where the PAS pump sits on an NA redblock) is crying out for an SC.
