A good diesel car is worth more than a petrol one and a well kept 99 Tdi is worth up to £2k imo. 200k is just run in. Regards.
Keep in mind a ten bob oil seal in an expensive to get at place will render the car scrap.

I'm afraid to say that I've just bought an Audi A4. I ran of of time to look for a V70 and the ones nearby didn't have service history which put me off. I looked at an S40 but it didn't have what I liked about my 940.

Still I'm sure I will be back to Volvo eventually. This forum had been a great help.

Anything 10 years old with this kind of mileage on in these economic climates is worth about £500 ... anyone asking for £2500 is making a £2000 profit !

I bought an Audi I'm afraid - not even a diesel. I ran out of time as I had to give my stepdad his car back (motorbike in the rain isn't much fun).
