  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Indeed. That's what I meant, but probably could have phrased it better.

Cars now have so many functions that already require too much time with eyes off the road. I don't think it's a good idea to add to the problem.

I like the look of that.

To be honest, the chances of me using a phone of any sort while actually driving are virtually nil. On the very few occasions I had to use a hand-held phone while driving (before the practice was banned) I found it extremely distracting. When I'm driving, I'm driving. Guess it's an age thing. I'd still like the facility though, as it would still be useful for passengers

Passengers can hold their phone in their hands. Besides, for the real handsfree function, the microphone is in the ceiling above the driver.
I find the handsfree phone function very convenient. Not much I need to do to use it. Press voice control button to start a call, EXIT to end one. That's it. Apart from that it's like talking to a passenger.
