Not sure if fogs will activate either maybe someone else knows or we could just pop onto our drives and check I guess lol.
Did you take a measurment Bill?

I read that the output was reduced to 55% but due to the way eyes work with their automatic light compensation for reduced light conditions, I've never been able to determine if it's true by simply switching them over while shining them on the garage doors.

i just popped in and saw what you guys are doing.

a simple DTDP relay would have handle this job for less than $0.90 USD

its just like wiring a basic starter kill relay found on this page

Hey Raife,

Did you get around the headlamp washer issue? I'm tempted to fit Led's myself, but i never thought of the washer bit. Since you mentioned it, i've held off on ordering.

Cheers

I think its doable but a little too close for comfort for me.

I think a mod might end up with a costly mistake....

Still got my thinking cap on!

Raif, during my various searches for drl's I found a site selling v70 bonnet grills with drl's built in, it was for my recently sol v70 but it looked proper good.
Not sure if the radius works on those drl's, they trimmable but what about vertical xc60 style on the extremeties of the main centre grill.?
I even on my now sold v70 thought about removing my headlight wipers for the sake of drl's.
Could you possibly do that, not hack them up but remove as if you were servicing etc?
