Default Indicator malfunction

Wondering if anyone has had to repair this fault themselves ?

My V90 first did it a few months ago, but has done it twice in the past week or so. Only when the car is first used in the morning and only when putting the right hand indicator on.

I've read most warranty claims replace the stalks and steering control module, but this seems a it shotgun to me, especially when your paying for the repair out of warranty.

Not had that specific issue but I’ve had the wipers, headlights, 360 cameras and keys not work intermittently on a 9 month old car with 3k miles on it.

Each time the issue is “fixed” by restarting the car (turn off, get out, lock and go for a coffee) but it’s ridiculous on a “60 grand car”.

Anyways - my car is back this morning and the dealers have done a “complete software update”.

Hopefully it should fix the issues, although we’ll see.
