1965 Volvo 122S 2 Door For Sale
This 1966, Volvo 122S 'Amazon' belonged to an old friend of mine who recently passed away, so now the car has to be sold.
First registered on 13th September 1996 and showing 33,600 miles on the clock, but this cannot be guaranteed, MOT till January 2012, (no advisories at last MOT), and not even done 100 miles since, taxed till 01/st September 2012,(free historic road tax). Generally good condition, front and rear bumpers re-chromed recently, drivers side door skin replaced recently, and new battery this month. Very good tyres and exhaust system. Interior is very good but would benefit from new door seals. Original seat belts in front and inertia reel belts fitted in rear. Oil Pressure and Ampmeter guages fitted. The only bad bits that I am aware of is the drivers side window mechanism has corroded badly and the window has been securely wedged in place by the bodyshop when they replaced the doorskin. The bonnet release cable is playing up at the moment, hope to fix this soon, passenger side inner wing is holed near to the bonnet hinge. Bodywork and paintwork is good, apart from slight fading to the bonnet, would shine up with a good cutting compound and a buff. Car has been stored in custom made cover, (included in sale), in a large airy barn, and has been regulary started and ran. Various spares included in sale, air filters, points, bumper section, bulbs, etc. Located nr Oban, Argyll, approx 100 miles from Glasgow, asking price £3,000 but open to offers. Colour and works done?
Kev240
Could you let me know what colour the car is, it appears green in some photos is that correct? Could you alsomlet me know what works your friend had done tot the car particularly anything that was done underneath. I assume that it is an 1800 cc I would also be keen to come and see the car, could you let me know your phone number to arrange a time. Regards Martin |

OK, so I haven't seen it and it certainly looks nice in the pics, to the point where I was interested myself when I first saw the advert, but £3k sounds a tad steep for a car with a hole in the inner wing and a January MOT......
