Default v70 r awd/fwd rear axle

hello im after a complete fwd rear beam axle for a r reg 97plate volvo v70 r it was a awd but today the transfer box/ angle gear/ and the whole propshaft is off the car as iv converted it to fwd as the awd is ****e as its only a gimmick 4x4 system as it only puts 5 percent power to the rear wheels so thats 2.5 percent in each rear wheel when the front wheel spins so its just a waste of time having it fitted. so i need a fwd rear beam so i can take the awd beam off.

for sale the whole awd system transfer box/ propshaft/ angle gear/ ect is in great condition with no probs all built in 2005 and all from volvo got paperwork for the £2000 bill as i thought it was playing up but it was the turbo making all the noise after all lol. so im looking to take the awd rear diff ect off and replace it with the fwd rear beam so its lighter ect let me no asap please thanks

FYI - Up to 95% of the power can be T/F to the rear wheels.

I understand there was never anything wrong with your AWD system as the fault was as a result of a defective Turbo charger unit, can you please advise what was wrong with the Turbo unit to make you believe the AWD system was defective?

hello it was the turbo gone as the noise was coming from there so when in the car it sounded like it was coming from the transfer box as its very close on the v70 awd cars and when i took it all off its been checked and looks and feels ok and the turbo is naft as stated in the 18t turbo description. since yesterday ive took the band clamp off the turbo and the bearing does need to be done and oil seals as it smoked a bit when boosting over 10psi but the whole td04 refurb kit is only £60 inc delivery on ebay bargain i think i hope this info is ok for you and why did you want to know this are you having the same probs.
