THIS WILL NOT COME ON THE ATS CUPS! £1100 O.N.O You will have to bring your own wheels to pick it up as the 13" steel wheels it came with won't fit over the front brakes. MOT is up 25th of July - passed last time with no advisories Car is on SORN V5 Present Loads of Service History Good Points: 1998 ABF with precut loom and deimmobilised ECU MK2 GTi 8V gearbox New front wishbones and Bushes New front ARB droplinks Fully rebuilt MK2 GTi rear beam Good condition interior (apart from front seats have usual bolster wear and padding sticks in your back) New handbrake cables supplied but not yet fitted Big brakes on front (not too sure what they are from GTi or G60?) Pretty much new rear GTi solid discs VGC 16V radiator MK2 GTi fuel tank fitted New Inner CV joint on drivers side driveshaft and new boot on outer CV Bad Points: Bodywork is not the best nor the paint, has had several touch ups and has small dents in various places on the body Front wings need replacing due to rust 7 slat grille is cable tied in place and has cracks in it Rear arches have rust - new arches will be supplied £35 odd pounds new from VW Heritage External plastics are fading, I used auto glym bumper gel on them which made them all black for about 8 months Side trim has fallen off on the passenger side but it is with the car Coilovers need replacing as both passenger side ones are worn out Exhaust manifold is cracked so needs new manifold Work to finish it off: Bonnet needs notching to clear inlet manifold or 90 spec bonnet fitting Engine needs wiring in either splicing the CE2 MK3 loom into the CE1 fusebox or a full CE2 conversion Engine needs finishing off plumbing in Rear brakes need plumbing in 9" brake servo and 22mm M/C are needed Speedo cable needs plugging in to the back of the gauge Fuel pump needs fitting to the tank (access through boot) Inline fuel pump needs fitting (supplied) Fuel lines need connecting at both ends Handbrake cables need fitting (supplied) Gear linkages need fitting to convert from 4 speed to 5 speed (supplied) Exhaust manifold and full system need making That's all I can think of atm so any questions please ask. So when I was told 14s barely clear the standard gti brakes it was rubbish, the original 13s fit over these uprated discs so it now comes rolling on original steel wheels.
