240GLT estate manual, 88 - 7 seater

Faded paint, peeling in places. Some rust around moonroof. Cracked windscreen due to rust. MOT till 25th November. Currently just under 250,000 on the clock. Starts easily even in the dead of winter. Gets 33mpg on the motorway. New Volvo exhaust system fitted two months ago. Poly bushings on reaction rods, panhard rod and front ASB, iirc. 7 seat conversion in boot. Tow bar and electrics. Recently replaced tailgate wiring both sides. Clutch replaced at 205,000 miles and still in excellent condition. Working heater fan.
Bargain at £100 ono. Tax till end of October for an extra £60, which is cost.

Car located near Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Could be interested as a spares and donor car. All depends mainly on whether my Nan will allow it on the drive....

Black with leather seats.

I'll try and get some done but it may be the weekend before I can. As I said above the paint is not in the best of condition so don't expect much of a looker. How interested are you?

OK, let me know. I'm not sure how much will actually fit your car but I suppose a reasonable amount will.

Can I please ask how the windowscreen is cracked due to rust? Has the frame rotted? If so how bad and does it leak?

I've just bought a 740 but would prefer a 240, especially in Estate form and a GLT. I would too like to see pics please.

The windscreen surround has a patch of rust near the top left corner. You can see the rust bubbling under paint coming out from under the windscreen trim. It is this rust that has cracked the windscreen. It has not caused a leak that I am aware of.
