You're welcome, if the tyres are wearing on the outside it points towards an alignment problem, most likely tracking but some 7/9xx models have top strut mountings so the strut can be fitted in one of two positions to alter the camber angle. Others need an alternative part from Volvo although i believe it's available on the aftermarket.

First step would be a full alignment check to find out why - a common cause is that the tracking has been previously set then the spaceship bushes have been renewed and the tracking not checked/reset after. I'm not saying this is the definite cause, just that it would bear investigation.

check for bent struts
This cars with 205/55R16 tend to wear at the outside. You have to gain camber. Simple mod, you will find informations about this here or in the www. I'm to stupid to post pics at this forum and this is not my native language, I won't be a help for this reason.
nevertheless the car will need a alignment after the mod.

Put the spare in front of the wheel to see how they will look and I think it's a big improvement !

She just turned exactly 127000 miles as I pulled onto the driveway tonight


I've covered 2457 since I got her in November...........Don't ask how much I've spent in that time

I've still got a million things I want to do to improve her as well. Gives me something to do I spose

Fitted the right colour radio and surround today thanks to Matt ( Ratrod240 ) for supplying

Looks so much better now it matches the car and no ugly gap around it

I think it was for the grille, guessing you sorted it though.

I got reminded earlier at work when I needed to use some.
