I’ve fitted 2 Jetex systems. One on my old 850 and one on my current p80 V70.
So same system. They come as ‘stainless chromium steel’ whatever that equates too.....
They are imo good on price and quality. The 850.s been on for about 8yrs now and still looks new.
Noise wise a bit louder in the cars compared to the OE systems. But only when booting it.. HTH’s.

Default Diff oil change

Been meaning to get round to this for ages so as I got the new oil to go in and a pump I tackled it at the weekend

Car up on ramps. Made sure I could undo fill plug first which was fine.

Then undo bottom nut on diff casing and let all your old oil drain out. Mine was pretty dark but didn't smell that bad and I suspect the fact there was white ptfe tape on the drain thread that it has been done at least once in 24 years

The correct amount listed for my diff is 1750ml and I drained out just about 1500ml ( it was draining for a couple of hours after a 20 mile drive )

Put drain screw back in and filled with 1750ml via the pump

Very easy job to be honest and well worth doing in an older car

Default New doorcards

I also finished painting my grey doorcards black and switching over the black plastic vents

Fitted this afternoon and they make such a difference to the old wrinkly ones

Old wrinkly ones

Nice new unwrinkled ones

I have one more coat of vinyl paint to put on rears and then they will be going in

They came out well. I was lucky in finding some good ones for £10 each. Mine are grey which seems the most readily available.

I find these blogs very inspiring. I should do my tidying on my car soon once I can get paint and AC O rings from Volvo!

James.
