Default V50 rear sensors constantly on when putting into reverse

Has anyone got any idea why my V50 rear parking sensors have started to be on constantly when I put the car into reverse? It used to be fine, not sure if there is a contact somewhere when selecting reverse and if that’s a possible problem. Thanks.

Have you checked the sensors are not covered in muck?

Just an update, I have cleaned them all up with WD40 now but still not behaving properly. Not on constantly now but just bleeping randomly.

Would the little obd readers you see on eBay and Amazon do the job of reading faults? Thanks

generally those cheap ODB readers only deal with the early basic universal legally compulsory codes , cars are now 10 times more complex and need a hand held reader which will deal with manufacturer specific codes .

you would/could be a Lot better off by going to your local volvo dealer and getting the car checked for error codes
and any software updates the car needs/is due as well

then sit with the print out of error codes and work your way through them ,or local main dealer OR volvo indy (who has VIDA/DICE combo) depending on what/wallet/diy skillsets
