Default Prop bearing

Posted this in the p2 section, so we will see who answers first. So my 02 xc70, whilst underneath I inspected the prop shaft, and I noticed the rubber bearing in the centre has a bit of play, in the sense I can wiggle the prop around in the bearing with about a centre meter of play and I can see light between the two parts. Is this normal ?

If there's no noise I would leave well alone as it an expensive job to swap it

NWPROPSHAFTS in chorley or Manchester are good

Easy way to know if it is the prop, remove the prop and take the car for a drive in 2WD, if the noise stops with the prop out of the car you have found the issue - Mike

Lol, mike, easy ! I know what you mean though. I've just looked at a photo of a good one and it looks the same, so I might be fretting over nowt. But I may well do that anyway.
