No, its a bellhousing NEVER officially sold in the UK

1975 only and only certain markets where the B20 was used rather than the B21

Yeah that's right The 244 and 245 cars in Europe never had the B20 engines except a few of the really early basic models 244L which was never sold in the UK.

It was a thing in the USA before the B21 was ready to pass emissions regs, Even Canada got the B21 engine before the USA

In Europe they had the B21 engine in 1975 with the M40 gearbox

B21 to M40 gearbox bellhousing now that's a rare thing,

Interesting. Now I have heard two conflicting opinions:

1. The 1975 B20s with M45/46 were used ONLY in Europe.

2. The 1975 B20s with M45/46 were used ONLY in the U.S.A.

The 1975 B20s in Europe were M40 M41 gearboxes

In Holland I have had at least 2 of these bellhousings. And still one in my garage just incase the M41 fails from my P1800ES. This bellh. Will make it very easy to fit one of the M46 boxes laying around.

Have steen multiple 240’s from 1975 with B20 with this bellhousings and the M45 fitted.
