If you get some go for some H7r bulbs they help with the beam pattern.

Since fitting mine I've never needed to use the full beam on a unlit country road.

Have you noticed oncoming drivers skidding off the road or flashing you as they pass ??

Most hid kits are alright now a days. I got mine off eBay, I choice them because they had the same ballasts I had on my old Astra which were in 3 years and I never had a problem with them

Well after comparing the likes of osram and philips with hids its a no brainer for me, cost similar money but you get sooo much more light from them.

Ordered myself a 4300k 35w kit. Had a look around the web at ballasts and which ones to avoid and i think i got a decent enough kit.

Full metal construction 0.4kg each, metal over plastic everytime imo.

Ill post some piccys when it gets here

So are these just a straight swap "bulb" for bulb basically, and then hide the ballast somewhere? Sounds too easy...

You can see where the ballast is on the drivers side, passenger side is in the side of the battery what you can't see in this pic.
