That is a nice looking car Although there are lots of overpriced dogs in the market, it just proves with patience it is possible to buy a good one.

I don't find scuttle shake problematic (2001 C70 2ltr. lpt. cabrio, although after having a set of new tyres fitted back in February some vibration is becoming apparent, that might be due to balance weights detaching. You'd think washing the rim prior to trying to attack stick-on weights would be standard practice, especially considering the prices charged.

Hi I have an 02 2l. Lovely car but the clutch has gone and can't afford to replace it. New battery, New alternator, silver. My baby, but got to sell it asap.

Having just joined the merry band of owners I concur that there are a high percentage of rough cars out there. I looked at a few before stumbling on that "one" that stands out head and shoulders above the others. I wont say mines perfect, its a 13 year old cabriolet after all and I have a plan to make a few subtle improvements to tighten it up (towbar already won on fleabay as I scavenge wood for my woodburner) and I'm looking for a strut brace.

I think the key is few many and choose wisely.. I'm a firm believer that you do just know when you get in the right car.

I agree. I have my eye on a C70 that makes no sense to buy but, having looked at others, I just can't get this one out of my head.
The colour is perfect, it drove really well but the bodywork needs TLC
