Glad to see my old V70's still on the road
Thought I'd type my old car's reg into the interweb, and it gives me a happy feeling to see it's still being MOT'd. I had it from new from Jan '02 until 2013. So if you've a dark blue V70 170 manual, sand interior, with an EN51 reg, it might be my old one, and if so, thank you for keeping it going.

How did you end the ownership...trade, private sale?
I've spotted cars I've sold ONCE a half dozen times. One vehicle, sold to a neighbor, I've seen consistently for 9 years. I get to see a body repair of mine from years before. |

Traded in for a new V70. Dealer didn't even bother to look at it; said it would go straight to auction. Had two failed front door lock modules, which were the killer really, since they're expensive. Alarm battery was dead (small but fiddly job), and was on the original clutch at 89k miles, and I'd heard horror stories of the slave cylinder leaks.
I believe I emailed you scans of the original sales brochures? |
