440 Vented Disc Brakes
Hi,
Ive got a 440 (1994 1.8li) and at the moment its on solid discs on the front, how easy is it to convert to vented? Will i see much difference? What would i need? Also sadly the backs are drums and they look ugly through my alloys!?!! Is it a big job converting this to discs? Again what would i need? Thanks in advance. Kind Regards Matt Brocklehurst. |

RE: 440 Vented Disc Brakes
Hi Matt..
Not sure about vented disc`s, but i wouldn`t have thought they would look much better than the discs you have now. Try searching for some drilled or grooved disc`s-they may be a little more expensive, but they will look very nice behind a nice set of alloys. I understand that Feredo do a drilled and grooved disc set up with pads for about £100, but i`m not sure where to find them! Try www.needforspeed.co.uk - they have a car specific section, or you could try www.eurocarparts.com. You could even try searching for a Performance Volvo site, and seeing if they have anything they can offer you there. Hope that`s been a little help! You made any other mod`s to your 440? Dan
