It could be some sort of heat sink/ballast resistor for use with an LED lamp, but they are normally a gold colour.

Hi on coil on plug, you have to use a inductive pick up coil/lead on the scope, look on youtube lots of info, you can use a long bit of metal over the top of all the coils, on one channel, then use another channel on the coil primary input of the coil on cylinder 1 so you know what one is failing ,

Kyboshed this coming weekend's lolling and lazing as the annual service warning came on.
Bit of PayPal and some eBay later, filters and oil are now winging their way toward me. Don't fancy submitting the old girl to a 500 mile round trip dragging a caravan around on old oil, seems a little mean.....
Still can't get VIDA to work so I might have to resort to shouting at it a little bit.

Washed the car and tightened the handbrake in preparation for the MOT tomorrow.

I'm at the New Jersey Shore (Beach Haven- LBI) and we are under 7 storm, flood and boating warnings.

It's raining hammer handles and pitchforks.

If you lived here you wouldn't have had to wash your car!

Cheers
