U0151-00 Also has a fault on the Parking brake module, loss of communication with SRS module.

This fault code is the same as SRS fault anybody got any ideas, should I be looking at SRS module or should I be looking at PBM??
Or does anyone know if there a crash sensor fitted to car

Latest update i have removed some of the interior around the centre consel to access the SRS/airbag module, removed glove box to access the CEM both of which show no signs of water ingress. Next step im going to try and get a Vida to try and retrieve fault codes.

Update many thanks to monkeh top man he popped over with his Dice/vide to read all the fault codes. Lots of faults came up found that the SRS airbag module which was not on the network checked power to module and its getting 12V. Suspect module any ideas.

Id say further work will need VIDA to throughly troubleshoot the issue plus wiring diagrams.

Recently I had an arsenal of faults appear on my V60. I used VIDA to check each module as per the troubleshooting steps. It gave me voltage checks, pin number etc.

You mentioned the SRS module is getting 12v. Was this reading from the plug pin hole? Did you check the earth?

My DIM (drivers info module) had 12v on the plug, however no earth. I then found out all the modules with DTC were sharing the same earth. I traced it via the wiring diagrams and found the earth lug loose.

Checked both power supplies both ok all the way to the connection to the airbag connector pins, never checked the earth though.

Looking at the wiring diagram for the SRS module the only earths i can see are common earth points. I don't think there is a specific one for the SRS module. I see there are a pair of CAN lines pins 27&28 on connector C1 going back to the CEM. Does anyone know anyone who can test or check SRS module? Will a new one require coding to the car?

Update just checked the CAN lines pin 27 CAN high giving me 2.7V ignition on, 3V with car running. Pin 28 CAN low line giving me 2.4V ignition on 2.2 car running so looks like CAN lines and signal are getting to SRS module. So suspect module I guess.

You mentioned a whole host of other faults in your original post. Do any of those systems share the same common earth points as the SRS module?
