Default 1970 1800E Front Tyre touching anti-roll bar on full lock

Any ideas? It was fouling when I first got the car and it was on 15x165 tyres. Now it's on 17x195. Problem has been kinda solved (thanks to 123GT) by impeding the lock slightly, but we still have an issue. Measuring to get the wider wheels on, the room is limited on the inside at the front as described above and limited on the outside at the rear by the outer wheel arch.

Tyres are not massively fatter than standard and rolling radius virtually unchanged.
