Lethal seatbelt and tow bar question
I have a V40 1.9TD and the problem I have is with the seatbelts.
When I release them they get pulled back so fast they have created a small dent on the window sill. I am worried they could break the window. Is there any way to adjust this or do I have to be careful. 2nd bit. I want to put a tow bar on my car. Is the car prewired to accept one or do I have to get extra wiring installed. Thanks in advance Matt |

RE: Lethal seatbelt and tow bar question
lol, I know exactly what you mean with the seatbelt thing, took me months to program myself to automatically catch the seat belt once I release it it Jacqs T4. Almost slit my throat with the thing a few times:(

RE: Lethal seatbelt and tow bar question
Ref the towbar electrics.
The car is pre-wired. I bought the harness from the local dealer for £20. You do need to know a little about car electrics but the instructions are easy to understand. You do need to be able to remove a terminal from a connector but if you have a problem you can always cut the wire before the connector. £20 seems expensive but it makes for a good fitting. |
