Volvo 730 2.3E Gas Conversion Kit
We recently scrapped out 740 after the auto gearbox broke on it. I removed the gas conversion that I fitted when I got the car. The kit was one from Mike Brace and is an OMVL kit. The kit is complete apart from the copper pipe and fixings to go from the tank to the engine as it would have taken me too long to remove it from the car. These can be bought from any local LPG company or i'm sure Mike would supply these for you. Also a few of the compression fittings may need to be change but should be reusable as they have only been undone once.
The kit contains the following:- 77litre Spare wheel tank (Saloon) Currently almost full with gas but can be drained Multivalve - currently fitted to the tank keeping the gas in Fill Point Mixer Vapouriser Solinoids Switch / fuel gauge T piece and some heater hoses Various bits of pipe and wiring This kit has worked wonderfully on my 740 and cuts the cost of running by about half. I am looking for £150 for the complete kit, it will need to be collected from East Leake which is between Loughborough and Nottingham as the tank etc is very heavy. Cheers, Richard |

Yes the kit is still available, it is a mixer system, easy to fit, simple to set up. Only bits that will need to be purchased as extra is a new copper pipe from front to rear of car and a few compression fittings, these will be cheap from any gas supplier or hardware store.
