Default P1800 ES 1972 FOR SALE £1800 ono

i have owned this car for the last 25 yrs. reluctantly sellin due to health related problems! (and owning a v40 and a range rover), she is in cherry red, body work is in unmarked condition, the interior is in good condition, as there is a small tear in one of the leather seats! she is currently on a sorn notice and in dry storage! she is driven every week on our private yard, which is rather large!, starts with no problems atall and runs with no problems! engine is in excellent condition and is fitted with the electronic fuel injection system, i do hav a set of twin carbs for conversion if need, but didnt get round to fitting them, if you would like any further information, call cliff on 07900664808

Cliff,

If there isn't much rust it seems like you're letting the old girl go way too cheap.

Cheers,

Mitch

the reason for the reasonable price, is i would rather let the car go to some one who will appreciate it as she does not get used as much these days! and there is some minor jobs to do to her! and due to ill health, i just dont have the time.. but thank you for your post mitch

Well cliffy,

I'm be quite interested. You must allow me however to convert it from rhd to lhd but for the rest it will remain as is.

Is it a leather black int? Believe there are some covers over the seats.

You can let me know how we deal with this by PM via skidje at hotmail dot com.

Cliff,

I'm interested in your car. I have an 1800S but the ES is more of a practical classic. Are you in newcastle upon tyne or newcastle under lyme? I would like to have a look at the car if possible.

Cheers

Alan

Default Up for sale again!

Yes, I bought the P1800 ES as I was seduced by its looks. It seems pretty sound structurally so far as I know. But there's a problem with the sensors being fuel injection model. To be fair to Cliff he did mention this. Unfortunately I do not have the skill, time or patience to sort out. I don't know whether it's a simple job or not or really what the problem is as new sensors were previously fitted. So reluctantly I'm putting it back up for sale. The price is the same as I paid - £1840 including 12 months' MOT. I also bought some SU carbs and they are also available for £150 which is the price I paid.

It really needs someone who can devote the time to test the engine management system but unfortunately it's not me. So the buyer would be recommended to collect by trailer - I'm in Darlington, County Durham. I can't add anymore than previously said. So if you want it please call 01325 333852 or 07879 118 777, no offers thanks.
