How do i tell if its a real 850r

Hi

Could you tell me how to tell if the car i looked at last night is a real 850r.

I have been told that the 'r' comes with sunroof & climate control & its the only one with electric memory pass seat.

Also the guy im buying from said he has carried out a mod to give it 10bhp extra by moving to horns away from air flow,is this bull or is he telling the truth.

Someone will be along shortly to tell you all the differences between T5s and Rs (although it's been covered before so you could search on the forum).

In the meantime I can tell you that the "10bhp mod" is nothing of the sort. The theory is fine but in practice it gives marginal gains at best on our cars. Unfortunately the seller has just shown how little he knows about the vehicle in question!

Yeah do a search this question comes up often.
I'd be looking for the correct engine code, correct interior which is unique to the 'R', front spoiler (rear on a saloon) is different and of course look at the V5 document.
