Ahhhhh right that makes sense! So chances are the 35 offset will stick out past the wheel arch,or as its only 3mm might it be ok depending of the width of the wheel? the offset diagram/explanation i was using was a bit ambiguous!

The lower the offset the more they stick out.
ET45+ should be fine on 225/45/17 |

They re 8x18 with 225 40 r18 with an et35 will they stick out too far?
