Apologies, if this has been already answered. I noticed that Volvo has just increased the XC90 list price for all variants, is it applicable for MY19.5?
If yes, does anyone know if they have made any changes to the specs?

Thanks

Oh no! Any details? I priced up my T8 which is due next month and it came out unchanged.

I suspect they may be even more increases on the way as the value of the £ against the € and the $ drops further.

It looks like abut £1400 increase on all models across the range with the T8 option dropped from momentum / Momentum Pro spec.

No obvious specification changes that I could see otherwise

Being curious, I've just priced up what my car would now cost with the same spec and options. In May 2016 the list price was £54k; it's now £60k.

That's an 11% increase in 2.5 years or 4.4% per annum. Take away annual inflation at, say, 2.4% and there's an increase of 2%.

Of course there's bigger discounts available now so the 'real' cost is less than it was.

My experience with my two V40s was an increase in price and a cost reduction exercise at the same time. Silly little things like the little pockets on the front of the driver and passenger seats. Were there in 2012, gone in 2015 (except R Design). Two lights in boot, one each side in 2012, only one in 2015. Hence the 2019 V60 now, before they remove the nice to haves, and remove the financial incentives.

In Sweden Volvo had a 50% off on automatic transmission during October.
Maybe this is the reason you see a price increase now?

Main 2 reasons in my books for price rise:-

1/. Exchange rates, and instability in the UK, so Volvo they are covering themselves a little, with cost of materials increasing as well.

2/. Demand, The cars are in demand, and as you all know supply and demand is what determines prices.
