(if you call you'll get better price than website)

i went for 4300k kit - I have since had the daylight running lights turned off
and when fitting I grounded direct to body not through car wiring which can cause wiper motor failure.

As for MOT - it's a 5 min job to swap back to the H7 bulbs so don't worry too much plus your car has projector headlights so has a proper beam cut off.

Really was worth doing. I didn't need the warning cancellers either. Never had any problem
I Have the same kit. 6k bulbs. Chuffed with it and their service. Also ordered a spare set of bulbs.

Thumbs up

I fitted my HID kit this morning with the £7 plug and play capacitors that are advertised to stop flickering/ warning messages.

So far so good, no more flickering or messages.

Time will tell if theyre reliable!

did you earth ballasts and bulb direct to body?

ours has been on 4 months and been excellent.

I would never fit HIDS if car didn't have projector lights as they look pants
but well worth the £55 i paid

Earthed ballast feed to the body, pretty certain earthing ballast will do nothing at all so didnt do that. Dont fancy the small chance it will affect my wipers, although again i find that very unlikely. An earth is an earth.

Yeh they look good with the projectors, checked beam pattern on the beam tester and theyre spot on. Hate people with dazzling lights!!

I wired normally and didn't earth to the body, no one has reported problems on C30 forum with problems.
Also my kit did not come with resistors and threw no errors

Well turns out even with my capacitors, the lights are still not perfect.

They work perfect and never flicker now, but as my DRLs are still switched on i occasionally get a low beam error when firing the car up and the lights dont come on. I have to switch to sidelights then back to dipped and they work as they should. This is normally only on first start up, then after that they come on with engine no problem. Sometimes they even work fine in the morning.. :S

If i get DRLs disabled that will sort them as they wont try to fire up at same time as engine. (ive been quoted £54 trade to do so!)

Alternatively, i have a pair of 25w 10ohm resistors i might try to save me £54.

Not fussy whether DRLs are on or not!
