Insurance
This is my first Volvo and my insurance is due for renewal in December. Been searching for quotes and the best I can get is £322 from Direct Line. Fully comp, class 1 business, courtesy car etc.
Does this sound ok? Just that I've only had a Lexus for the last few years and normally paid between £250 and £280

How long is a piece of string?
All you can do is use a few comparison sites and then Direct Line. I have noticed a lot of people on here (me included) are with Aviva.

Have you tried Chris Knott as VOC associate insurer?

Yes, I moved to Aviva couple of years back when I got my S90, also had my house insurance so with various discounts ended up being very reasonable. But as a previous reply says, how long's a piece of string, everyone is different

So many variables . where you live , how many cars are stolen in your area/road , how many miles you drive annually etc etc etc.
I found "Quote me Happy" very reasonable and have been with them for four years now . They are the online division of Aviva Even had a claim for a tile blowing off of my roof and going through the bonnet and no loading or increase the following year . they also give discounts if you have other policies / cars insured whit them . Might be worth a quote

Apparently, 6 weeks out is the sweet spot for the best quotes, ie Monday coming, good luck!

Thanks for the message and we usually process and email out to you 2 weeks before the renewal date or thereabouts. Please return to me if you haven't received around this time. Thanks. Dan |
