Default Cable through bulkhead ?

P2 D5 2006:

I'm fitting an oil pressure gauge and all that's left is to run a sensor wire through the bulkhead into the cabin.
This should be easy but it's not straightforward finding a route through - preferably on the left side of the car (RHD).
Just asking if anyone here's done this recently & found an easy way through without drilling anything ?

Thanks

Whether it's the same or not someone else will need to confirm, but when I put front parking sensors on mine someone on this forum told me about a rubber grommet in the passenger footwell. It was about 8" up slightly left under the carpet and foam. Just what I needed. So as Volvo tend to keep their designs going for years you may well have one there, even though its a different model.

Thanks Phil,
I found a youtube showing a route through via the left A pillar so that looks the easiest method.

What would we do without YouTube eh? I've recently bought an old VW as a project and YouTube has been invaluable!

Hi, don’t suppose you have a link to this YouTube video? Trying to run a wire through for some auxiliary lighting and struggling to find a good route through.

Thanks, Albert
