Default 302 Carriers (and Calipers)

Wanted - 302mm carriers from phase 1 V70.

Also, Calipers would be useful (I know these are the same as the standard size V70, but they are to fit to a 760).

Hi Ian,

302 carriers are available from Volvo (not sure of price but I think price went down last year), or Skandix for 36 euros plus core, and other suppliers.

Just curious, how do you run your 760 on petrol and veg mix?

Steve

Are those linked not for the standard size brakes?

I think these are the 302mm ones @ 65 euros each.

It's an old IDI (in-direct injection) diesel engine, so it can run on vegetable oil without the dangers involved in modern diesels. The petrol is added to thin the cooking oil (10% petrol thins as much as 40% diesel):

I've done a few mods to help cold starting, and prevent high end fuel starvation (pump is tuned as well fuel being thicker):
- higher pop pressures on injectors
- bigger fuel lines and facet pump
- pump timing running slightly more advanced
- heated fuel filter

I'll check when I'm home, but I think I've got a set of 302 carriers in the garage.
