Default XC60 D4 190 Manual : Start up requiring two pedals depressed

Hi All,

61k covered, and in the last 3 months, the car starts with just the clutch pedal depressed 20% of the time.

For the other 80% the display says press brake pedal at the same time. Then it starts.

It's been into Volvo for the last safety recall and I asked them about it, they were not aware of this happening. The service staff looked at me as if I was mental.

Anyone else had this or know why it does it?

Regards - Mark.

Check the brake fluid level.
If it needs fill it up with appropriate fluid (DOT 4+)
Leave it for the night, in the morning it must be ok.
Check it for a few days, if the level don't drop again it is ok.
If it drop you must go to the garage for inspection.
If you fill it up or the level is ok (between min - max) you must also go to the garage.
