Yes, I know its the wrong Section .... but .... some of you here have V70's etc, ....

Just wondering if anybody's got a GOOD (no sh#t) old style power steering pump for an old style 850/V/C70 etc, that has the reservoir mounted on/above the pump rather than the updated one with a separate reservoir?

Going tonight to remove the pump off a TDi, if the PAS pump is the older style I'll grab it for you. Pretty sure the TDi's are the newer style though!

Thanks very much. The p/s pump arrangement from the older style with the reservoir mounted on the pump changed to the separate reservoir on the o/s inner wing below the expansion tank in about late '98.

Cheers, Bob

Yep, I know they one exactly, pre ME7 cars had them but I'm sure all the TDi's had the newer style with separate tank. Although with a change of coolant bottle and the tank pipes I'm sure it could be upgraded. Will grab pics when I'm at the car. Had to reschedule to Friday.
