Default Tyre pressure monitor stuck

I've got aftermarket tyre pressure monitoring that fits onto the tyre valve where the dust cap would usually go.
But the rear ones are stuck on and I cannot remove them.
I tried using penetrating fluid, adding it over several days but they are still stuck.
Just wondering if anyone had any tips to remove them?
or should I just get a tyre place to cut off the valves and fit new ones?

Carefully, and I do mean carefully. Try and grip the valve stem as near as possible to the top with a pair of pliers and then using another pair try to turn the valve cap monitor, or if the cap is six sided a small spanner. If you decidec to replace the monitors apply a bit of copperslip, Vaseline or even a little bit of grease to the valve thread. helps to prevent the caps sticking. Had to do it a few years ago on a Mitsubishi Delica after fitting aluminium valve caps that oxidised with the brass valve fitting. Trust me it was a bum twitching moment fearing I might rip the valves out. Good luck.

I just couldn't get them off so took them to a local independent tyre* shop where they cut them off, fitted new tyre valves and rotated my tyres all for £10

May I ask what aftermarket system you use and how satisfied you are with it?

I had ordered one from China, but didn't even used it, it was just c***. OK, 12.-€ including shipping from China didn't suggest a high quality product...

I purchased this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SJX82...395841_TE_dp_1
"Car Tire Pressure Monitoring System, TPMS Tool with Wireless Alarm, Instrument with LED Display(0~3.5Bar), Tire Pressure & Temperature Monitor, with 4 External Sensors in Real Time, Plug with USB Port "

It costs £26.95 and was ok, one thing I didn't like about it was that the screen was very bright which meant it had to be disconnected a night.
I think this is a common problem with these.
Also the sensor resolution was only about 1.5PSI, again normal for these sorts of monitors, but would prefer it to be accurate to 0.5PSI.

If you find a good one please do post it in this thread.
