Thanks to spokoluzik for his amazing service.
I visited this trader last Saturday morning at 08.00 and he was good enough to diagnose/verify what Volvo had said about me needing a new ABS pump and fitted one whilst I waited, tested the vehicle afterwards and hey presto, all done.
I would highly recommend him from the service I received.

regards

Did your man replace the module or the pump? Or perhaps both?

Just fitted a replacement abs ecu to a 2005 s80 2.4 d cured abs /speedo problems but now have "Anti skid service required " Having had it on the computer shows no faults but reads cannot configure ecu. The replacement is from a s60 years unkown but same ecu code 30643982 , could there be compatability problems ?

Unhappy Communication codes

Hi, I would appreciate some help with my 2005 S60 D5 as it has communication code issues that sound a bit like the ones discussed here as follows:

ABS
0115 communication between control modules steering angle sensor signal missing.
0148 communication between control modules faulty configuration ID
0100 communication between control modules engine control module

Central Electronic Module
1A59 Comm signal missing
1A62 comm with ECM signal missing

Steering Angle Sensor
E000 control module communication faulty communication

That lot above are making the car lose power as you accelerate out of left hand bends and also taking the traction control system off line.

Thanks for any help.

The ABS code are from the SAS code.
it could be the SAS needs a software upgrade.
i had this issue last month.

Hello Geoff

Quite an old problem by now, I see, but my car seems to have very similar characteristics, i.e TCS operating on LH bends, if on the throttle, but not RH bends.
it also seems to be deteriorating: last night on the M40, I had traction control on all the time for 3/4 miles, in 5th gear on a dry road!
Did you solve yours?

Thanks,
Kelvin
