Is this a Real T5R

im considering on buying this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volvo-855-T-5R...item4cf6d77e72 but as i am not sure if it is a real T5R or not i would like some advice on it and is it worth the money ?

It looks a bit tired to me. Interior doesn't look amazingly special, and the under-bonnet pic is awful - why don't people make more of an effort with for sale pictures?

Being a T5-R it does of course make it more valuable, although I've never subscribed to that myself - it's a 15yr old Volvo Estate with 200K miles. Think I'd be offering more like £1,000 if I was in the market, or for the same money find a totally sorted T5 with half the miles that's been owned by a club member on one of the Volvo sites.

It's not rusty - just looks like it's been run with either crap antifreeze, or too little/no antifreeze.... Either way, check for oil in water and vice versa...

why does it have half leather front seats, and full leather rears? is that normal?

Certainly looks the real deal, looks very tired though!

Its been on sale for a while http://forums.t5d5.org/topic/15080-h...g-my-855-t-5r/ but IMO, its not worth the money as the whole issue of condition/mileage/history etc doesn't warrant the asking price.
