V50 General : - Drying bathing suit/wetsuit in the Volvo V50

Maybe an odd question.. but I wouldn't be surprised if Volvo thought of everything.

I go swimming regularly before work and have a wet bathing suit and towel and at some point a wetsuit. I can't take them into work with me so I hang them over a hanger by the window.

Is there a better way?, there are holes for something above the window of the rear passenger seat (What are they for?), I wonder is there a rod you can put in these and use it as a drying rack?

those i believe are for the load space net

to clip into, there are 2 sets in mine, one above the rear seats,

and the ones you have shown, Just behind the passenger/drivers seat , so with the seats folded Down the load space net goes to the roof and Still prevents things hitting the back of your head when you hit the brakes

i cant see any reason why not to utiilse the clip/holes as your idea,

Volvo did in fact think of everything.
Volvo not the traditional image for the surfer car i'd imagine, but does the job

actually having thought that, I googled it and they did a surfer themed ad...

I remember looking at a Ford Foucs estate in a dealer a few years ago. Various surf stickers on the back window (where I live is a big surfing area).

We popped the boot and noticed that the entire interior was covered in a furry layer of mould. Everything. Boot, seats, dash, floor, door cards, headliner. The steering wheel looked like it had one of those fabric covers on it.

Obviously it had been used for carrying wet boards and suits, and hadn’t dried out before it was traded in. Sitting idle in the dealership, the mould just took off.

We pointed it out to the salesman as we left, and he said they’d clean it up. I wouldn’t like to be the person that bought it.
