Bash on sheeple (if you think that`s what it is), I`ve wide shoulders I can take any bashing from anyone, I don`t scare nor whimper.
The Scots clannish attitude is great, I admire it, I like folk who are outspoken, even folk who shout and bawl can be entertaining. Oh and apart from some aspects of the weather I love Scotland, that`s why I choose to live here. I don`t really think of it as `bashing`, although some get a tad more personal than others, forum`s are a place for free speech and discusion are they not? You have to expect to attract some negative attention when you choose not to fit in with the industry standard society norms and verbalise your choices. Now someone touched on the biker angle, hmmm, well yes that goes some way to explaining it as does my lineage but in general I don`t NEED an excuse to choose how I live, none of us do! I also do not need anyone`s blessings or acceptance to say or do what I do, as far as I`m aware I`ve not been insulting to anyone in a personal way, I try to generalise my gripes and moans so as not to do so as I respect folk for the individuals they are even if I don`t respect them for their sheeple choices. Now then, who is still not paying draconian car park charges then?

A couple of months ago I found out the boss had a TV licence for one of his properties that had not been occupied for the best part of a decade (even then it was only used for holidays, it's on the coast). It was soon due for renewal. Going through the legal channels to declare that a licence was not required as the property was empty was a joke. If I recall correctly the website instucted me to make a phone call to such and such a number and then the phone instructions sent me back to the website. After much ado I managed to inform them that we didn't need a licence as the property has been empty for donkey's years and is currently up for sale and referred them to the estate agents. I initially received a communication confirming they had received the updated information but very shortly after that they started sending reminders that the property does need licence, etc... Duh...
