JUST BACK FROM SHROPSHIRE. A CLASS ROAD AT SPEED LIMIT. 33mpg

1992 940 turbo diesel estate - VW D24Tic Engine (with leaky head gasket)

Around town 32mpg driven carefully

Motorways up to 40mpg driven carefully

My V40 T4 Auto does around 25mpg - mainly gets used for the daily commute (40 mile round trip) mix of 30-70mph limits. Mainly 'normal' driving with the occasional blast...

Haven't read back through the pages to know if that's OK or not?
