Default Cruise control & manual box

Evening all,

My 63 plate S60 D4 is in for a service, and I've been given a V40 D2 to play with. I've noticed that it retains cruise control 'target' as you work your way up and down the gears, and my S60 does not.

Is this something that normal on my era of S60, a feature with later editions, or something that's just broken on mine? :-)

I could just wait and ask when I get in... but the service guys seem to be having trouble keeping up with technology basics at the moment, and have confessed to being bewildered by the latest kit options on Volvos.

Just back from the shop - S60 is just the same as it was before. I must admit, the V40 cruise control was nice, along with the bendy headlights.

I'm beginning to slowly learn that I won't be getting any software improvements over the lifetime of the car. My time in IT has spoilt my view of software engineering and releases!
