My 09 V70 2.4TD fuel flap switch has stopped working. I can't find the knob referred to in the manual to open it manually. HELP!

Not sure about the V70, but the C70 has a pull cord. It is behind the boot trim panel, I found mine when removing the trim panel for other work.

All working again. I could hear it trying so fed a plastic card in the side near the catch to apply a bit of opening pressure and slowly but surely it popped open. Squirted plenty of penetrating oil in it and the spring catch on the door and now back to normal.
Will still get in behind the rear lining when I get a dry day and fit a pull cord.

If you remove the side panel in the boot that gives you access to the light bulbs there should be a manual release cord with a plastic handle. Should be easy enough to get to.

I've had a good look in there with a torch and a mirror. Nothing obvious.
