142S headlamp question
Hi all,
I just bought a 1968 142S today for $200 CAD. Runs pretty good and has some rust on the body. I really like it. I need to find a headlamp for it so I can get it inspected for insurance here in Canada. I finally found a headlamp online after 45 minutes of googling at www.donsbulbs.com for $42 USD ($22 if I buy 2) but that seems pretty extreme for a bulb. What do 140 owners do? Do people convert their headlights to a different system so that they don't need these old bulbs? Much thanks, and sorry if this gets asked all the time. Regards, Dustin |

We do halogen conversions for these.

Ok, thanks
Hi,
Thanks for that. I finally found a bulb locally so I ordered a few of those. A halogen conversion sounds like a really good idea though. I'm going to queue that up with all the other things I'm hoping to do. Regards, Dustin |
