Default Seat Belts (again)

Hi all

I expect some of you might have read this elsewhere so apologies for that.

Are the front seatbelts in the 140/164 series boxed in and if so does anyone know if they look like these?

I have these retrofitted into my 131 Amazon and need to replace them but need to identify them first.

Regards
Brian

Ifs from a 140 it must be very early as the later one for sure are sunk into the sills. Is there not a part number on the real?

Default part no

Yes Dai,

Part no 682660. I have tried Volvo UK who say they have no record since they ditched the microfich. Upshot is these have very slow springs and need replacing. I want to continue to use the locking mechanism (between the seats) so any new aftermarket ones will have to use the same buckle (on the belt). Or I could try getting new ones made and cut off and use these buckles. Anybody had aftermarket belts made?
