I am looking to check the ABS on my 1990 2.3 940 est.
until recently have on occasion felt a pulsing on the brake pedal. Does any one know where the feed to the dash light is situated?

well if the pedal is pulsing upon heavy breaking and the wheels arn't locking up then the ABS system is working correcly so leave well alone

Hi, Does the ABS light come on with ignition on and go out after engine start?

Thats the theory.
Given you do not have a problem/issue with the ABS system.

But there are a number of reasons the ABS light will come on, which do not invlove an ABS failure.
One common one is fouled or dirty sensors, or a failed sensor.
