92; 96024V. Should dash be illuminated all the time as is on my 940. It isn't.

Hi,
I think not as mine are not on until the switch is moved to parking lights. This on a V90 1997. Soon as you have full lights on though, then your dash lights will be on. Youwill notice the sterio display will dim (night operation) and lights for heat, gear selector etc will come on. Damn annoying when going though long tunnels and bridges..! Des. . .

on both my 740's the dash lights are on as soon as you turn the ignition on.

Mine illuminates when you switch the sidelights or headlights on.
