2. Members cars entered in the actual BKV competition,
3. Other Volvos ( VOC members or not),
4. Non Volvos.

Thank you for the clarification

Default Gracie won't be coming .

We set off this morning for the national (we are staying on a caravan site for a few days 1st) and 2 mins down the road at the roundabout I had pulled out with the caravan onto the roundabout and heard a loud bang behind me so I quickly pulled over hoping nothing had happened to Jayne in Gracie . 2 mins later she pulled in front of me followed by a red Renault scenic . Jayne had held back at the roundabout due to traffic and the woman behind assuming Jayne was going to go , did this .

Her car does not show much damage but hitting the tow bar etc what is hidden behind the plastic ?

All in all everyone ok but instead of being nearly at our destination we are still at home sorting out . We are still going to the national but Gracie won't be accompanying the xc90 so come and say hello (we'll be the ones with 2 gsd's) and sympathise with us .

Hope you all have a safe journey ,

Simon and Jayne .

Oh no!

Hope you get everything sorted out quickly! I'll keep my eyes out for you guys on Sunday - I'll be the one trying to run off with one of the GSD's!

On another topic - Is anyone able to elaborate as to what seperate "categories" there are for cars to be entered into? Obviously your own class but what else is there?

Sorry to see that Gilberry, do hope the damage turns out to be miminal. Looking forward to meeting your gsds, I will have to bring my staffie, my other three dogs can stay at home

I'm determined to make Sunday but as usual the powers that be are conspiring against me. My 940 went back to the dealer last Wednesday for a couple of jobs to be done to make it 'as described', had a hell of a morning with him, he wouldn't let me leave his drive, I had to threaten to call Police. He has kept the car ages just to be difficult so I only got it back today. I had decided to get the engine work done on the 760 to enable it to travel long distance and come in that for the 700 series anniversary but of course I've had to use it locally whilst I didn't have the 940 and I don't think I've got time to get it sorted and cleaned for Sunday as I am working Thursday and Saturday. Getting back into the manual 940 from the auto 760 today has thrown my back out big time. I'll be the stressed limping member in the dirty car on Sunday no doubt!

and more hoped for.

The "old guard" still gets the traditional BKV competition on the Sunday.

Some people have put a great deal of work into this behind the scenes - and others (like me) have made a right nuisance of themselves so I'm damned if I'll let it go unadvertised!

This should be the best BKV yet - but only if a good crowd turns up for both days so do try to come along.

Silly question - Is the national only for VOC members ?
