You will need the correct throttle cable.

Is there a separate part number for the B21/B23 throttle cable when compared to the B200K?

Actually the real question is whether the throttle cable from a 1976-1984 car for a B21A engine would be compatible with a B200K Volvo from 1987?

There are different part numbers for different cables. The left hand drive ones for example are a different length. I did the conversion of fitting the B21A manifold to the B200K about 15 years or so ago and just used the cable from the donor car.

Fitted the B21 Manifold with the Stromberg 175 Carb to the B200K block. Took the throttle connection from the original B200K inlet manifold and fixed it on the B21 inlet manifold. Next step is to fit the new throttle cable (much longer than the original), adjust the shims and start it up.....

Default Weber Carb Conversion

I got my 1989 240 DL Sedan, B230E with a crude carb conversion. I saw a nice Weber kit with a Penta manifold on eBay and Amazon for about $500. Has anyone used this? I want to get the manual choke version. The one on the car uses the original FI intake manifold with a crudely fabricated adapter.

How do I setup the fuel system? Do I use the original in tank and external system? What kind of regulator should I use? Thanks!
