Creaking Dashboard

Anyone else suffering from a creaking dashboard?

Mine is a 14-plate XC60 SE Lux with 10,00 miles on the clock and has developed a creaking noise when accelerating from standstill or on rough road surfaces.

It seems to be caused by the "floating" centre console.

I'm a bit disappointed as the build quality seems great in most other areas.

Have you adjusted the steering wheel lately ?

Just on my car I had adjusted the steering column and my dash creaked. Moved it back and no creak

I think there are a few "known" creaks so your dealer might be able to sort?

No creaking on mine. They will fix it under the warranty if you take it in.

hi chaps common area on xc60 for creaking is center stack ive done loads for annoying creaks

I used to think my car creaked then I realised it was actually my joints and bones not the car

hi there ,remove floating panel not to bad some t25 torx screws then once out you need to strip ccm completely again sounds worse than doing it all in should take 1 hour ,there is actually some ant-squake creak lube agent from vovlvo you can get its great for squeaks n creaks
